Bonjour!

Toulouse, France

So on our first day in the city of Toulouse, we managed …

… to visit an old church, …

… a small museum presenting the Roman origins of the city, …

… and the Museum of Natural History.

This is where we started to crash from sleep deprivation.

Christopher and I were both reminded of the Westworld credit sequence.

Thinking of our cucumber princess back home.

We were so tired that Nick and I started to hallucinate.

But, at three in the morning, the city of Toulouse parked a giant truck and generator just below our window and used a giant flame thrower—which sounded like a jet engine—to scorch the word “Bus” that had been newly painted on the roadway.

Still sleep deprived at breakfast, Christopher and I went to a farmers market just outside our front door and scored some amazing produce.

These babies were the size of a head!

And we ate at home in a very civilized manner.

So all is good.
